How To Make A Show White Cocktail Shot

  1. Using a cocktail shaker, add ¼ cup ice to the shaker and then the pineapple juice.
  2. Stain the pineapple juice into each shot glass, this should fill up about halfway.
  3. Add a splash of Sprite on top of the pineapple juice.
  4. Dump the ice used in the shaker and rinse the shaker.
  5. Dry completely and add in new ¼ cup ice.
  6. Pour in the blue curacao.
  7. Using the back of a bar spoon, very, very carefully and slowly pour the blue curacao onto the spoon. This allows the liquor to sit on top without the two liquids mixing.

Recipe Notes and Tips

Here are a few things you can do to ensure your cocktails turn out well every time.

  • Keep a stash of fresh ice cubes in the freezer at all times. There’s nothing worse than going to look for ice to find out the ice cube tray is empty.
  • Run out of pineapple juice? Try lime juice instead.
  • Place your shot glasses in the fridge while you prepare the cocktail so it’s nice and cold.
  • If your bottle of curacao is empty try substituting it with Grand Marnier.
  • To add some texture to your shot throw in crushed pineapple or garnish with a maraschino cherry.
