These Anna Minnie Mouse Frozen themed Cupcakes are so much fun to make and are the perfect accompaniment to a weekend full of binge-watching Frozen movies and other fun Disney shows.
We love the spice flavor that these cupcakes have in them but in all reality, you could really use any type of cupcake mix or flavoring that you want. Have fun together as a family creating these delicious cupcake desserts!
Ingredients for Anna Minnie Mouse Frozen themed Cupcakes
Fondant Ears Ingredients
- 1 package blue fondant
- 1 package of dark pink fondant
- 1 package of dark pink fondant
- Pink and green edible marker
- 1 Wilton fondant bow mold
- 1 mini circle fondant cutter
Spice Cupcakes
- 1 box Spice cake mix
- Ingredients as listed on the back of the cake mix box
- Muffin pan
- Cupcake liners
- Electric mixer/ mixing bowl
Vanilla Frosting Ingredients
- 3 C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
- 6 C powdered sugar
- 5-7 tbsp. heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 large piping bag with large star tip
- Brown gel food colouring
How to make Anna Minnie Mouse Frozen themed Cupcakes
Bow directions
Powder your hands with powder sugar and mold the Pink fondant into a ball
Pinch off 1 teaspoon size ball of fondant and press it into the larger bow size mold
Mold the black fondant into a ball and pinch off 1 tsp size and mold into the smaller bow size
Allow drying overnight.
Using a little bit of water, lightly dap the back of the black bow and place onto the pink bow.
Allow drying for a few hours
Using the pink and green edible markers, draw a tulip in the middle of the circles.
Cupcake Directions
Preheat oven as per directions on the box.
Put the liners in the muffin pan. Set aside.
Following the directions add ingredients.
Mix all ingredients as instructed.
Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full.
Put in the oven and bake for 22 minutes.
Check for doneness. ( Insert a toothpick into the center of a cupcake, it should come out clean.)
If they are not done, check again every three minutes until they are done.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Frosting Directions
Using a standing mixer combine the butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, and mix on medium speed until combined and smooth
Divide the frosting into two bowls.
Mix in a few drops of brown food coloring into one bowl.
Place the piping bag into a large cup and fold the sides over.
Scoop the brown onto on side of the piping bag.
Scoop the white onto the other side of the bag.
Pipe frosting onto the top of the cupcake.
Place the bow into the center of the frosting.
Place the ears onto the sides of the bow.
