Disney At Home Bucket List – Hands up who is a Disney fan? Disney is one of those things that many families embrace. It can stem from your childhood and having a love for all the classic films and characters. Perhaps you use to watch them time and time again or collect toys.

You may have visited some of the iconic Disney World or Disneyland resorts as a child and found yourself sharing your enthusiasm for it with your children. Many parents love to share Disney and see the magic and excitement in their faces much like it would have been for them years ago.

There is no denying that food can play a vital role when it comes to loving Disney and creating Disney-inspired food can be fun and delicious. Get yourself a Mickey cookie cutter and create some delectable treats for yourself, your family, and your friends.

Build a castle with building blocks

This is one that all ages can get involved in. Many households will have some form of building blocks, and so creating a Disney-inspired castle is a great way to have some fun together and pass the time.

Learn to draw your favourite Disney character

Getting creative is a lovely way to spend some time, and many people enjoy drawing. So take it one step further and learn to draw your favourite Disney character.

You could follow YouTube videos or find blogs online that can give you a step-by-step guide.

Write a story about adventures in Neverland

Another great way to be creative is to write, and Neverland could be the source of many magical tales and inspiration for stories.

Write little stories for your siblings or practice your writing skills and publish them online. You never know where it might lead.

Draw a Disney friend and cut it to make your own puzzle

If you like to be creative then drawing something Disney-inspired and then cutting it up into pieces to create your own puzzle could be a lot of fun.

Olaf is a loveable character from the hit movie franchise Frozen, and a flipbook is a lot of fun to create. Olaf loves a bit of dancing, so why not create a flipbook of him doing exactly that?

Who doesn’t love a good joke? Any Disney fan knows that it can be the source of many creative things, and creating your own jokes can not just be fun, but provide entertainment and laughter for the people you love the most.

Draw and plan your own theme park ride

The Disney parks are filled with incredible rides, and a lot of the time, they are inspired by the films and cartoons we love.

So why not have a go at designing one yourself? Take your favourite film and reimagine it as a theme park ride. Or you could be really specific and base it on a Disney character.

Back to food and I am not sure anyone can resist a good pizza, not to mention a Disney-themed pizza. Mickey Pizzas can be a great meal for the whole family to enjoy. Add your own unique toppings and enjoy a healthy meal.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a much-loved favourite and so a pirates scavenger hunt can be a lot of fun when you create one for your friends.

Hide some treasure, create a map, and have fun finding everything. You could all take this in turns to create one so that everyone has a go at finding the treasure where “x” marks the spot.

Play hot and cold with a Disney stuffed animal

A simple game that can be enjoyed by all ages is hot and cold. Gran your favourite Disney stuffed animal and hide it.

Then ask your friends or siblings to find it, saying hot if they are close and cold if they are nowhere near.

Paint a flower pot like Mickey’s pants or Minnie’s dress

Another creative option and a chance to get outside is to use flower pots and paint them. You could spend time painting Mickey’s pants or Minnie’s dress. Or even any other Disney-inspired character that you love.

Once you have your pots ready, plant some flowers in them and watch them grow. You could plant herbs or brightly coloured flowers. This is the ideal thing to do in the Spring.

A picnic is a lovely way to spend some time and whether you go off somewhere or just enjoy it in the garden, why not make it extra special? You could only pack Mickey head shaped food. Such as cold pizzas, sandwiches, and cookies. However, let your imagination run wild.

This is a fun basketball game played by two players. It is all about shooting and not having the other player duplicate your shot. If you miss it, you receive a letter. The first one to complete the word loses the game.
